Frequently Asked Questions

1. How far in advanced do we need to order a bin?

Depending on the bin size you are looking for we usually are able to deliver your bin next day.  There are some circumstances where we will be out of a certain size for 3-4 days, however you are welcome to order the next size container or give us a call and we will recommend a container for you!

2. How long can I keep the bin?

Our bins are rented out for 3-4 days maximum; you can always give us a call to see if we will be able to accommodate the rental you are looking period you are looking for.

3. What if I need another bin?

If you are not sure about the size of bin you need you should give us a call to determine the size that will best suite your needs. With that being said, there are some jobs that need more than one container. We would be happy to provide an additional container however there will be an additional charge of the originally quoted price for the same size bin.

4. Will the bin damage my driveway?

We go above and beyond to ensure that the container does not damage your driveway. All of our bins are placed on wood so they do not sit directly on your driveway avoiding damaging the driveway.   Although we do our very best to ensure the driveway will not be damaged, if you are looking a disposing of heavy materials it is best that you do not put the bin a freshly paved driveways.

5. Where will the bin be placed?

The bin will be placed somewhere within the driveway or if you desire and it is safe to do so we can put the bin on your lawn. The amount of room that is required for the bin varies based on the size you order. However our average bin is 12ft long and 6 feet wide, so it will not take up much more space than a 4-door sedan. Although the bin is only one car length, we require ample room in front of where you want the bin placed to allow for the truck to drop the container.

6. What is not allowed in the bin?

There are many materials that are prohibited in your container rental. Depending on what you order your bin for will change what is allowed in the container. This list is just general information and does not include every possible prohibited material, it is best if you are unsure to ask us.

7. Do we have to be home for the bin to be dropped off?

Yes, someone does have to be home when the container is dropped off. The reason being is to sign the delivery slip and pay for the container. However you do not need to be home when the container is picked up. Just simply call and set a pickup date if you wish the bin to be picked up sooner than 4 days after drop off.

8. What are the time windows given for delivery?

Once a delivery date has been confirmed, we give you a 2-hour window in which the bin will be delivered. We will work with you to establish a delivery window that will work for you.

9. How full can the bin be filled?

The bin can only be filled as high as the walls of the container. No materials are allowed to be above the walls, no exceptions. This is for our driver’s safety and the safety of everyone else on the road. Full bins need to be trapped and if materials are over the sidewalls of the container it becomes dangerous for our drivers to put the tarp on. Also overloaded containers with materials over the top, bring the risk of blowing out during transportation causing a danger to other cars.

10. Can a bin be put on the Street?

Unfortunately bins are not permitted on the street. This is a rule placed by different municipalities throughout the GTA.
